“I have no explanation why Kaja Kallas (Vice-Chair of the European Commission, the highest representative of the European Union for foreign affairs) came with such a statement that all the diplomats of the European Union (EU) remain in place,” commented Latvian Army reserve colonel, member of the Saeima (non-partisan) Igor Rajevs in the TV24 program “About the war in Ukraine with Igor Rajev”.
I. Rajev reminded about Russia’s statement that Russia will attack Kyiv and that all diplomats should “move away” as quickly as possible. I. Rajev said that it is not clear to him why this unverified information should have been broadcast as an official statement.
