The fifth civil protest is taking place in front of the Prime Minister’s Office.
The protesters demand the cancellation of the project in Zvërnec, while calls for the resignation of Prime Minister Edi Rama were also heard during the rally.
The participants held placards with opposing messages, which read: “Homeland is not for sale” and “Albania is not for sale”.
The protesters emphasize that the protest belongs to the citizens and not to any political party, excluding the new forces, while they have also made public the five demands of the protesting citizens.
“After five days of non-stop protests, we will not stop until our non-negotiable demands are met, this nationwide movement is represented by a coordinating group of patriots with integrity and high intellectual and social values.
They are dignified people, young men and women, determined to take this cause to the end. This is a response to the great danger in which our country is, according to our conviction, in these 35 years, national interest and security have been violated. The wealth and future of the country has been put at the service of private interests and policies.
To clarify all public opinion, inside and outside the country, and to remove any shadow of doubt or attempt to smear this patriotic movement, we declare that the protest is organized and led by free citizens.says one of the protesters, followed by a standing ovation.
Further, he listed five demands, which he emphasized are non-negotiable:

1- Resignation of the government
2- ?Abrogation of the status and legal framework of strategic investors
