POLICE SEARCH FOR SUSPECTS INVOLVED IN WOUNDING CREW MEMBERS
Police are searching for a group of men allegedly involved in the wounding and robbery of two crew members from a vessel docked at Heritage Quay.

The alleged incident occurred around 1:20 a.m. on Thursday, June 4, along Popeshead Street.
Preliminary investigations revealed that the two male crew members were reportedly walking back to their vessel when they were approached and attacked by a group of men.
During the incident, both victims sustained multiple injuries.
One victim sustained injuries to his face and head and was treated on the spot.
The other crew member sustained several wounds to his head and arm and was transported to the Sir Lester Bird Medical Centre. His condition is serious but stable.
A backpack containing personal documents and a small amount of cash was stolen during the incident.
The Police Administration condemns this senseless act of violence and remains committed to ensuring the safety and security of both residents and visitors to the country.
