The Instagram page of X&O’s chat podcast, hosted by Edin Avdić, informed the public about the dates of the commemoration and the last farewell for the deceased Avdić.
The first commemoration will be held in Belgrade on Saturday, June 6, 2026, starting at 1:00 p.m. The commemoration will be held at the “Crowne Plaza” hotel, in the “Exhibition” hall.
After Belgrade, a commemorative gathering and final farewell will be organized in his native Sarajevo. These events are scheduled for Monday, June 8, 2026, while the exact time and location of the event in the capital of Bosnia and Herzegovina will be announced later.
The departure of Edin Avdić leaves a great void among colleagues, friends and numerous basketball fans throughout the region who enjoyed his work and recognizable voice.
Let us remind you that Avdic died on Wednesday at the age of 47.
