The National Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) says no cases of Ebola have been detected in the country.
In a statement, the centre said the epidemiological situation remains stable, despite ongoing monitoring of outbreaks in the Democratic Republic of Congo and Uganda.
It said surveillance and rapid response teams remain on alert, with measures in place to detect and respond to any suspected cases.
The centre urged the public to rely on official sources for information and avoid spreading unverified reports.
It also explained that Ebola is not airborne, but spreads through direct contact with bodily fluids of an infected person or contaminated materials, and stressed the importance of early reporting of suspected symptoms.
