This Monday, the Cortés Chamber of Commerce and Industries (CCIC) launched ExpoJuniana 2026, which this year hopes to bring together some 300,000 visitors from different regions of the country at Expocentro to celebrate the 490th. anniversary of San Pedro Sula.
The commercial exhibition, which will take place from June 19 to 28, will have more than 500 exhibitors, including companies, small merchants and entrepreneurs, who will offer a wide variety of products and activities aimed at family entertainment.
During the launch, CCIC authorities highlighted that the 34th edition of the ExpoJuniana It will be full of excitement with entertainment for all ages, such as rides for the little ones, a wide gastronomic offer and live music.
In turn, they indicated that this year they project an economic impact of more than L150 million, consolidating it as one of the most important commercial showcases in Honduras.
Melissa Yacamán, manager of Expocentro, explained that the commercial exhibition will be distributed in different areas. The Los Laureles and Emprendedores halls will host the commercial offer and the traditional entrepreneurs’ bazaar, while a Chinese exhibition will be held in Los Zorzales.
The agenda also includes a varied entertainment offer. Among the new features are a virtual stadium, where live matches from the United 2026 World Cup will be broadcast, and a masterclass specialized in the automotive sector.
Added to these activities are the traditional mechanical games, the Plaza del Sabor and the Oasis Zone, spaces that will concentrate a large part of the gastronomic and family offering during the ten days of the event.
The artistic programming will include daily concerts with national groups and special guests. The official inauguration will take place on June 19 at 4:00 pm in the Felipe Argüello building and will conclude with a musical presentation by the Santa Fe group.
As is tradition, this year the children’s fair will also be held, an activity aimed at students from public schools, non-profit organizations and educational centers for children with special needs, who will be able to enjoy the attractions offered by the fairgrounds.
Likewise, the organizers reported that, to guarantee security, they will have the coordinated support of private security, the National Police, the Municipal Police, the Armed Forces, the Fire Department and traffic authorities, both inside and around Expocentro.
