Prime Minister Hristijan Mickoski today at the joint press conference with the President of the European Council, Antonio Costa emphasized that Macedonia remains firmly committed to the European path, but expects a credible and predictable accession process based on merits and reforms.

The meeting also discussed economic integration, infrastructural connection, energy security, investments and the opening of new opportunities for young people.
– European integration is not an abstract political topic. It means better education, better quality healthcare, efficient institutions, secure jobs and a higher standard of living – stressed the Prime Minister.
In the address, Mickoski told Košta that he believes in partnership dialogue, mutual respect and mutual understanding, but also that dignity, identity and principles must not be an obstacle for the European perspective.
