The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud – may God protect him – sent a reply cable of thanks to His Royal Highness Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud bin Nayef bin Abdulaziz, Minister of the Interior, Chairman of the Supreme Hajj Committee, on the occasion of his congratulations on Eid Al-Adha and the success of this year’s Hajj season 1447 AH, as follows:

We received Your Highness’s telegram No. 319354 on 12/12/1447 AH containing our congratulations on the blessed Eid Al-Adha in your name and in the name of Your Highnesses the governors of the regions, Your Highnesses and Excellencies members of the Supreme Hajj Committee, security personnel, and all governmental and private agencies participating in the Hajj work this year 1447 AH, and what you indicated about the success of this year’s Hajj season despite the circumstances the region is going through, thanks to God. Glory be to Him, the Almighty, and then thanks to the distinguished efforts made by everyone, and the comprehensive security, preventive, organizational and service plans that were approved for preparation and implementation, which enabled – by the grace of God Almighty – the guests of the Most Merciful, who numbered (1,707,301) pilgrims, to perform their rituals and move between the holy sites with all comfort, ease and reassurance in an atmosphere full of spirituality, tranquility, security and faith.
We have followed the great efforts made by all sectors participating in serving the pilgrims of the Holy House of God, and we were pleased with the keenness, dedication and mastery we saw from everyone in achieving the honor of serving the guests of God, and the satisfaction, security and reassurance we saw among the pilgrims.
As we thank you all for your congratulations on the blessed Eid al-Adha, let us ask God to bring it back to us and to you and to the Islamic nation with blessings and blessings. We praise Him, Almighty, for the success of this year’s Hajj season, and what we have been able to achieve in serving the pilgrims of His ancient home and the visitors of the mosque of His Messenger, may God bless him and grant him peace. We ask God Almighty to accept the pilgrims’ Hajj and return them to their homeland. Their homelands are safe and prosperous. We also ask Him, the Almighty, to grant us success in everything that is good for Islam and Muslims, and to grant us sincerity in word and deed, and to make our deeds sincere for His honorable face. He is the Hearer, the Answerer.

We are pleased to thank you for your congratulations, and for the success achieved for this year’s Hajj season 1447 AH, thanks to God Almighty, then under the patronage and directives of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud – may God support him and protect him – and the efforts made by everyone to carefully implement the Hajj plans (security, health, preventive, organizational, service, and traffic), and with comprehensive follow-up by the concerned authorities to ensure comfort.
