A 10 year old boy it turned out wounded after a shooting recorded in the Capra neighborhood of Montevideo, confirmed to The Observer sources from the Ministry of the Interior.
As reported by Telemundo in the first instance, there are two other people injured: a 26-year-old woman and a man of the same age.
In the case of the child, he was circulating in the area with his mother, while the woman was also nearby and was injured, the Montevideo Police Headquarters reported in a statement. The woman was diagnosed with a “superficial injury” to her head.
The injured man is in police custody.
The episode occurred around 3:00 p.m. this Monday in Alfredo Zitarrosa and Clavel del Aire, on the border between Capra and Manga.
The injured child entered the Capitán Tula polyclinic in a private vehicle and received a diagnosis of a gunshot wound that entered through the buttock and exited in the abdomen, he reported. Underlinedwhich added that the minor was transferred to Pereira Rossell.
At the scene of the shooting, when the Police arrived, there was an injured man and another person, who “tried to leave the scene when he noticed the police presence.” However, he was unsuccessful and was arrested. The Police found drugs among his belongings.
