Recent data, announced by the Zionist Central Bureau of Statistics, showed a continued increase in the number of Jews who spend long periods outside occupied Palestine.
According to Zionist census data and analytical reports, this trend is not only related to temporary travel, but rather to long-term residence outside the occupied territories.
Statistics reported by the Palestinian Quds Network on Thursday indicated that in 2025, about 69,300 Zionists left while only about 19,000 came, resulting in an inverse migration balance that repeats a pattern that began in the previous two years.
In 2024, the data also recorded high numbers of departures, as the number of Zionists who left for a long period reached about 82,774 people, a much higher number than in previous years, compared to those who arrived, whose number did not exceed 24,150 people, resulting in a wide gap between departures and arrivals.
The year 2023 was the starting point for this trend, as it witnessed a rise in the number of departures to more than 59,000 Zionists, which is also a higher number than the annual average in the years leading up to 2022. Previous years recorded lower numbers, as it was the mid-30s annually in the previous decades.
Most of the departures belong to the age group between 20 and 39 years, and analytical reports have shown that many of the departures are workers in the technological and engineering sector, in addition to some doctors and specialized professionals, which raises questions about the ability of the Zionist occupation to maintain its vital sectors.
