The Commander-in-Chief of the Haitian National Police (PNH), André Jonas Vladimir Paraison, met on Monday 1er June 2026, the families of the four police officers killed during an operation in the Artibonite department. The remains have been recovered and the families will have complete freedom to organize the funeral, with the institutional support of the PNH, indicates a note from the PNH. The support will go beyond the funeral, in accordance with the decree of July 1, 2022 guaranteeing special risk compensation, the note continues.
