MANILA, Philippines — Two motorcycle riders will face criminal complaints for allegedly hurting a bus driver and his conductor in a supposed “road rage” incident in Quezon City, the police said on Tuesday.
In a statement, the Quezon City Police District (QCPD) identified the implicated riders as John Mark Longgaquit, 23; and John Lyndon Barrosa, 27.
The two riders will be charged for serious physical injuries before the Quezon City Prosecutor’s Office through regular filing, according to the QCPD.

The police alleged the two suspects hurt the bus driver and his conductor—only identified by the aliases Edilberto and Emerson—along Quirino Highway near the corner of Ascension Drive in Barangay Pasong Putik last Saturday night.
“The incident stemmed from the reckless swerving of two motorcycles along the bus lane, which caused a confrontation resulting in serious physical injuries,” the QCPD said, without immediately providing further details.
However, the victims only reported the incident to the Pasong Putik police station on Monday and positively identified the suspects through photographs.
The Inquirer is working to reach the suspects’ side for comment. /mr
