Among other things, a knife, a machete and an imitation pistol were found in their possession, while a two-wheeler without plates that they used as a “business” vehicle and that had been declared stolen from Paleo Faliro was also seized.
Searches of their homes yielded additional findings, such as knives, tools, gloves, clothing allegedly used in the attacks, as well as small amounts of cash.
Team action has reportedly started since at least mid-March, with the two minors having distinct roles. One approached the victims, with his features covered and threatening with a gun or knife, while the second provided cover and ensured the escape on the bike.
The authorities pay them off six robberies and one motorcycle theft in areas such as Ilioupoli, the Greek and the Argyroupolimainly in the early hours of the morning. In one of the cases, a booth attendant was slightly injured while trying to resist.
It is noted that the two minors have been charged in the past for theft of two-wheelers. In addition, one has been arrested for violating weapons laws, while the second has been arrested for robbery against minors.
The two minors were taken to the Juvenile Prosecutor. One was ordered into temporary custody, while the second was placed under restrictive conditions and supervised by a juvenile probation officer. The arrested parents were released by order of the prosecutor.
