The 2026 UN Chinese Language Day celebration gala was held on Monday at the United Nations Headquarters in New York. Sun Lei, Deputy Permanent Representative of China to the United Nations, stated that the Chinese language carries the wisdom of over 5,000 years and bears witness to the vicissitudes of human civilization.
