Northeast of Nuuk, evacuation has begun after two people were surprised by an avalanche while snowmobiling.
Monday 14.39 received a report of avalanche development near Nuuk and two vulnerable people who had gone out in the area on a snowmobile.
The police and other authorities took action and a SAR operation began.
The two people are located in an area called Nedkørslen, approximately 15 minutes by snowmobile north-east of the city.
They are now being taken to Nuuk for treatment, says warden Brian Thomsen.
