Turmush — The first settlers of the village of Podgornoye, which belongs to the city of Orlovka, Kemin district, Chui region, were people born between 1878 and 1918.
About this to the correspondent Turmush reported the press service of the mayor’s office, citing records from 1965.
“This information dates back to 1965. The text begins with the words that the village of Podgornoye has existed for more than thirty-seven years,” the message says.
Those who first settled in the place that later became known as the village of Podgornoye:
- The oldest villager is Sedov Nazar Grigorievich, who was born in 1878.
- Following him are Adylov Dzhumaly and Skidanova Tatyana Andreevna, born in 1891,
- Abdykerim Tynaliev and Baulkina Ksenia Karpovna, born in 1899,
- Musa Alymbaev, who was born in 1899,
- Ryabov Ivan Petrovich, who was born in 1897,
- Zarishnyak Maria Fedoseevna, born in 1900,
- Saly Alybaev, who was born in 1903,
- Gavrilova Anna Ivanovna, Kolesnikova Fedora Garasimovna, Moeseenka Anastasia Sergeevna. born in 1905,
- Dolgopolova Ulyana Emilyanovna, who was born in 1907,
- Anpilogov Ivan Alekseevich, born in 1908,
- Kachurov Kondartiy Abromovich, born in 1912,
- Dukhanina Anastasia and Klimantova Evdokia Antonovna, born in 1914,
- Filshina Evgenia Vasilievna, born in 1918.
Some of them worked at the Oryol garment factory.
Previously Turmush wrotethat in the village of Podgornoye at one time there was an enterprise for processing bast crops (bast plant or, as it was popularly called, Lubzavod).
Until 1928, the site of the Lubzavod was a wasteland, and in 1928-1930 a bast factory and the first barracks houses were built there. The factory began producing bast threads from hemp that grew in nearby villages. The company’s products were sent to different parts of the USSR.
In 1965, the plant was liquidated and the Oryol Garment Factory was built instead.
