President Donald Trump threatened Wednesday to hit Iran “hard,” after U.S. officials said Iran had launched a ballistic missile attack, which was intercepted, on U.S. military assets in the region.
The threat followed U.S. and Saudi joint strikes targeting Iranian-backed forces in Iraq overnight, in what appeared to be Riyadh’s entry into the conflict between Washington and Tehran.
