The general manager of Dar al-Mujanin of Kandahar, Maulvi Ataullah Farqani praised the efforts and services of doctors and attendants in the treatment of mental patients and called their contribution important.
He said that six acres of land has been allocated for the treatment and care of mental patients in Aino Mina, Kandahar city, and a center will be built and put to use at the cost of 65 million Afghanis.
According to him, with the establishment of this center, more facilities will be provided in the field of treatment and care of mental patients.
It is worth mentioning that at the end of the meeting, in order to appreciate the efforts and services of the doctors and attendants, they were given certificates of appreciation and each discharged patient was given 5,000 Afghanis in cash.
