The Supreme Court in Kosovo dismissed all five complaints related to the election results, paving the way for the certification of the results and the formation of institutions.
He described as unfounded the complaint of the Serbian List regarding the claim that Nenad Rashiqi won a seat in the Assembly of Kosovo with the votes of the Albanians.
The complaint was rejected because Lista Serbe “has not been able to prove that the votes for the Serbian community are manipulated and orchestrated, but that its emphasis in the complaint are only statements and not substantiated”.
The Supreme Court also dismissed the two complaints of Nova Demokratsa Stranka, with which they alleged manipulation of the votes of the Bosnian community.
The Supreme Court has also rejected the two complaints of the candidates for deputies from the ranks of the Democratic Party of Kosovo, Bekim Haxhi and Qendrim Kryeziu, who demanded a full recount of the votes of the candidates of this party, on the grounds that there is manipulation.
The decisions of the Supremes have opened the way for the Central Election Commission to certify the results of the June 7 elections.
Thus, on Wednesday, July 8, this institution will hold its next meeting where it will certify the result.
After the certification, the Assembly of Kosovo must be constituted within one month, and then continue with the formation of the government and the election of the president.
According to the election results, the Vetëvendosja Movement is the first party with 53 mandates followed by the PDK with 22, the LDK with 18 and the Alliance with 7.
