The press release of the Ministry of Public Works stated that Mullah Muhammad Isa Sani, among the main reconstruction works of 9 bridges related to the said highway, 7 bridges, including the Doshi bridge, are located in the South Salang area and the remaining 2 bridges are located in the North Salang area; He also visited and directed that the works of these bridges should be completed as soon as possible.
He gave the necessary instructions to the project implementation teams and the officials of the contracting companies about the speedy and better performance of the work and emphasized that the planned parts of the highway should be completed before the arrival of winter.
The officials of the contracting companies have also assured that they will carry out the works of the said projects in the best quality and according to the plan within the specified period.
It is worth noting that the basic reconstruction of Salang highway (concreting, bitumen, bridges, bridges, retaining walls and some other artificial structures) is currently going on rapidly in different parts of North Salang and South Salang.
