During this visit, Mr. Sheikh Sher Ahmad Haqqani praised the establishment and performance of Mujahid Museum and said that this museum will introduce the history of Jihad, historical values and sacrifices of Mujahideen to future generations and has an important role in protecting the national heritage.
Maulvi Habibullah Mujahid, the head of information and culture of the said province, said that the museum was built with limited resources and it contains ancient relics, Mujahideen military equipment, a collection of manuscripts, martyrs’ memorials and their names.
Sheikh Sher Ahmad Haqqani also visited the construction works of the mosque and the library under construction.
He appreciated the efforts of the officials and employees of the said department and recommended that, along with the protection of cultural and historical values, they should make more efforts in the field of information access to the people.
