
The Ministry has stated in a press release that in this review, the general situation of cooperation between Afghanistan and the United Nations, humanitarian aid, the importance of joint and coordinated efforts for the needs of returning Afghan refugees and continuous reintegration, the special needs of Afghanistan in the fields of climate change and water and the need for more cooperation and the regional situation were discussed.
According to the information of the newspaper, the two parties discussed how to find new opportunities related to the Doha process and emphasized the importance of such cooperation, which has practical results and has a positive impact on people’s lives.
In accordance with the existing realities, the importance of using accurate information and reliable sources for a more accurate and balanced reflection of reports, statements and evaluations about Afghanistan was emphasized.
In addition, concerns were shared regarding the damage to civilians due to air strikes by the Pakistani military regime and the importance of protecting civilians and preventing such damage was discussed.
There was also an exchange of views about the arrival of the new special representative of the United Nations Secretary General for Afghanistan, Rabab Fatima, and the necessary coordination and cooperation with her.
In the end, emphasis was placed on mutual understanding, constructive interaction and further strengthening of cooperation.
