
The ministry wrote in a press release that he said in the meeting: “The protection and defense of the ruling Islamic system in Afghanistan is your responsibility before everyone, because the Islamic system has a Sharia ruler and all the scholars are at its head. The leadership of the Islamic Ummah is the responsibility of the ulama, so you must strongly defend and protect the Islamic system.
He added: “In the past 20 years of occupation, the aggressors were very interested in intellectual occupation along with physical occupation. They worked in different guises to disorient Afghans, make people suspicious of religion, and defame religious values.
At the same time, scholars, influential people and tribal philanthropists have called it their Shari’i responsibility to help the ombudsmen in the implementation of the Sharia law of Ambar al-Ma’roof Nahi an al-Munkar and to establish reputations in the society and to prevent denials.
It is worth mentioning that Mr. Al-Hanafi had held meetings with religious scholars, influential people and tribal philanthropists of Badakhshan, Takhar, Baghlan, Balkh, Samangan, Jawzjan, Faryab, Kunduz and Sarpul provinces a few days ago.
