Deputy Prime Minister of Russia Marat Khusnullin reportedthat from July 1 there will be no changes in the Family Mortgage preferential program. The decision to change the terms of the program will be made no earlier than October 1, 2026, explained at the Ministry of Finance.
“Our task is to increase the targeting of support and have a positive effect on demographics. It is important to make a very informed decision. And also to give time to citizens, developers, and banks to prepare for changes in the program,” said Marat Khusnullin at Max.
As the Ministry of Finance added, now interested departments continue to work on proposals to improve the program. Family Mortgage has been operating since 2018. During the program’s existence, more than 2 million families have improved their living conditions with its help.
