Also, the Minister of Industry and Commerce of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, Nuruddin Azizi, spoke about the importance of the fifth domestic and international exhibition of industry and mining and said: “Considering the growth and development of the industry in the country, conducting such programs is of special importance and can play an important role in further development.”
Azizi added: “As a responsible institution, the Ministry of Industry and Trade is committed to the growth of the country’s industry, supporting and providing facilities to industrialists and will not spare its efforts in this regard.”
The Minister of Industry and Trade explained: “The current development of the communities is based on their industrial development and we are also trying day and night to take Afghanistan to the path of economic prosperity through industry.”
According to Azizi’s information; With the restoration of the Islamic Emirate, 5900 companies were granted licenses by the Ministry of Industry and Trade, and last year 576 companies received 1916 points, which is 2800 acres of land; About 1 million 163 thousand tons of raw materials have been given and distributed. Also, Afghanistan currently has products in 2000 items and has reached self-sufficiency in 300 items.
At the end of his speech, the Minister of Industry and Trade of the country said that after the closure of Afghanistan’s trade routes with Pakistan; More than 100 companies have been granted licenses to manufacture pharmaceuticals and medical devices.
Also, the representative of the Afghanistan Chamber of Industries and Mines, Mansour Yusufzai, shared the report of the exhibition and said: “In the fifth domestic and international exhibition of industry and minerals, which lasted for seven days, 328 companies in 36 different sectors participated in more than 400 booths, and domestic and foreign companies presented their products and products, which were visited by hundreds of thousands of people.”
He added that during the “B2B” and other meetings, 50 agreements and contracts worth over one billion dollars were signed in various fields, of which 10 agreements are between the Afghanistan Iron and Steel Association and the Iranian delegation in the field of factory equipment and raw materials.
