“One beautiful July 1st, I was born, and then, exactly ten years and ten days later, Richard was born. Maybe that’s why it was so easy for us to communicate and work together every day – we both had a lot of similarities. Even the ten-year age difference didn’t bother us, because Richard is a very mature man, or I’m an ever-growing husk,” Skaiva says about the similarities between herself and her on-air colleague.

“Our duet existed for two years, and during that time there was everything except anger. Every divorce is unpleasant, there is nostalgia, some kind of sadness, memories come up, but this time we say goodbye in a good mood, after all, we both stay M1-ame”, says Ričardas.
The famous and well-known M1 presenters have not yet revealed who their new broadcast partners will be and what shows they will host on the radio from next week. He claims that this week he wants to say goodbye not only to each other, but also to a huge group of his loyal fans.
“It’s a pity for me to break up with him, because working with Richard was the same as eating a blueberry pie – very easy and sweet. I even sometimes wanted him to be angry with me, but it never happened. My colleague often brought me some kind of treat, even after a few years she learned to give a compliment! And during those years, I started to understand a little in Žemait. I’m sorry for our couple, I’m leaving a good man, but when you find out why – you’ll understand me,” she intrigues S. Jasevičiūtė.
R. Mikavičius also speaks only the most beautiful words about her, which is a great proof that he really learned how to give compliments.

“When I started working with Skaiva, I thought that she was a real bigot, up and down, such a navel of the world. But it didn’t take long for me to become convinced that Skaiva is a very friendly, good, intelligent person. I learned a lot from her. I won’t hide it, I have received devils for what I did or said on the air, but it never turned into public or private conflicts. Skaiva is a real radio star, a legend, it is comfortable and easy to work with her, I will be proud of the fact that I was able to be near her”, Ričardas reveals.
M1 representatives promise to announce all the news very soon. Not only new host duets, new shows will appear on the air, but also one new face, but already very well known to M1 listeners from a long time ago.
