
According to Bakhtar News Agency, this project is financed from the special development budget of the Ministry of Public Works and implemented by the Department of Public Works of Helmand.
In the opening ceremony of this project, the assistant of Gershak District, Sharaf said that the Islamic Emirate is committed to the implementation of projects for the purpose of reconstruction and providing facilities to the people in different parts of the country, and the beginning of this great project shows this commitment.
At the same time, Mufti Qudratullah Wasal, the mayor of Gershak, said that compared to before, security has been established in the country and the reconstruction work is going on fast.
He added that this road is of great importance not only for Gershak district, but for the whole country.
At the same time, Engineer Gul Ahmad Ghause, the responsible engineer of the Helmand Department of Public Works, told Bakhtar News Agency that this project includes the construction of two large bridges and 20 culverts along with an eight-kilometer road.
According to him, one bridge will be built on Ab Pashak and another one will be built on the general Baghra canal of Gershak.
He added that the project is scheduled to be completed in almost two years, and upon completion, the level of traffic accidents will decrease, traffic facilities will increase and the problems of drivers will be solved.
