The CASS works to install self-service kiosks in different parts of the country so that members can obtain documentation without the need to travel to the organization’s offices. The initiative envisages placing these devices in dependencies of the public administrationwith the aim of facilitating procedures and bringing the service closer to citizens.
One of the proposed locations is the Immigration servicewhere this documentation is routinely used. The CASS is also studying the possibility of installing kiosks in the different parishes and in Pas de la Casain collaboration with the commons.
The new devices will allow users to identify themselves and select the documents they need to print. Among the procedures available will be thes more common procedures, such as obtaining CASS points.
Currently, the organization already has self-service machines in its facilities, but the intention is to make this system independent and extend it to other places in the territory.
The initiative is part of CASS’s new strategic plan, which works to improve attention to members and simplify administrative procedures. Currently, the organization receives about 500 face-to-face visits per day, of which 40% correspond to people who come to look for documents. With these measures, the parapublic wants to reduce unnecessary travel, speed up management and devote more resources to personalized attention, especially for groups affected by the digital divide.
