The Animal Rescue and Protection Association (ARPA) has submitted a proposal to create one space of memory and recognition dedicated to companion animalswithout burials. The entity considers that this is the most viable option in front of the land limitations of the country and the complexity that enabling a cemetery would entail from a technical, urban and environmental point of view.
The ARPA has delivered to Government of Andorra a complementary study on the possible future creation of one area with burials. The document discusses the necessary legal, environmental and technical requirements, however it is not part of the project that is presented publicly and it would only serve as a basis for work if later on the administrations decided to evaluate this alternative.
