This year’s national holiday will be the first celebrated by Grand Duke Guillaume as head of state since he took office last October. As the State Ministry announced on Monday, the official ceremony will take place on Tuesday, June 23, 2026, at 10 a.m. in the Luxembourg Philharmonic Hall.
In addition to the Grand Duke and his wife Stéphanie, deputies, members of the government, the Council of State and the judiciary as well as the municipal council of the city of Luxembourg will take part in the celebration.
The government also invites interested citizens to take part in the official ceremony. Since the number of places is limited, invitations will be assigned in the order in which registrations are received.
Registration is possible from Tuesday, June 9, 2026, from 9 a.m. via the website www.gouvernement.lu possible. (DJ)
