PARAMARIBO — The system update of its Online Banking platform on October 16 is part of De Surinaamsche Bank (DSB)’s ongoing efforts to keep its digital services safe, reliable and user-friendly. The update, which the bank announced in a press release on Wednesday (today), concerns both Internet Banking and the Mobile Banking app.
To support customers as best as possible with DSB Online Banking, DSB is organizing a Pop-up Event on Saturday and Sunday. “During this event, customers can receive information, guidance and practical support in using Internet Banking and the Mobile Banking app, including assistance with changing their PIN code if necessary. Otherwise, they can also contact the DSB Contact Center,” it says.
DSB advises its customers to check before October 16 whether they know their current PIN code for the Mobile Banking app. This will be needed after the update to make certain changes within the app. Customers who still know their PIN code do not need to take any further action. It is different with customers who have forgotten their PIN code. They can change this themselves before October 16 via the Mobile Banking app.
