Damascus, May 2 (SANA) Syrian Minister of Endowments Mohammed Abu al-Khair Shukri met Italian Ambassador to Syria Stefano Ravagnan on Saturday to discuss strengthening bilateral relations, with a focus on religious and humanitarian cooperation.
The Ministry of Endowments said in a statement on its Telegram channel that the meeting focused on promoting coexistence and social peace among all components of Syrian society, as well as highlighting the country’s cultural diversity.
Shukri welcomed efforts to promote values of moderation and support a balanced and inclusive religious discourse. He referred to the impact of the “Unity of Islamic Discourse” conference held in Damascus and highlighted the ministry’s role in promoting coexistence, social cohesion, and constructive engagement within society.
