The Suarez Brothers Circus will not stage its scheduled performance today as it works to satisfy requirements requested by local authorities.The circus announced that its performances scheduled for Sunday, August 9, and Monday, August 10, had been cancelled while it addresses the outstanding requirements.“This decision has been made while we address and complete certain requirements requested by the local authorities, with whom we are working closely and cooperatively in order to continue our season in Barbados as normal,” it said.The circus did not identify the authorities involved or disclose the nature of the requirements.Patrons who purchased tickets for the affected performances will be able to use them for another date once the show schedule resumes.The circus said it would provide further updates on upcoming performances through its social media channels.
