Lotte Østergaardsuperintendent of the Sikkerneq Orphanage in Nuuk, is the happy recipient of 165,000 kroner donated by Stark Greenland. Stark Grønland himself writes this on his Facebook page.
It is the fifth time that the company has collected money for the orphanage and the amount has only grown over the years.
According to the announcement, the money will be used for the maintenance of the orphanage’s cabin in the fjord.
– The cabin is an important focal point for their educational and therapeutic treatment work with the children, and we are excited to see that last year’s donation resulted in, among other things, a new wooden terrace and a freshly painted cabin, which the children can now enjoy, writes Stark Grønland.
