Heat wave and rain
The National Bureau of Meteorology warned in its weather bulletin for Monday of a record heat wave reaching 49 degrees and thunderstorms in many states of the country.
According to a second level alert from the National Bureau of Meteorology, marked in orange on the vigilance map, the states affected by the heat wave on Monday and Tuesday are: Adrar, Ain Salah, and Bordj Badji Mokhtar. Camp, Gulizane, Chlef, Ain Defla, Tizi Ouzou, M’Sila, Guelma, Sidi Bel Abbes, Saida, Tiaret, Tissemsilt, Medea, Djelfa, Bouira, Bordj Bou Arreridj, Setif, Mila, Constantine, Souk Ahras, Batna, Oum El Bouaghi, Khenchela, Tebessa. Bejaia, Jijel, Skikda, Annaba and El Tarf.
According to another alert from the National Bureau of Meteorology, level one, marked in yellow on the vigilance map, the states concerned with thundercell activity and rain from three o’clock in the afternoon on Monday until three o’clock in the morning tomorrow, Tuesday, are: Tamanrasset, Bordj Badji Mokhtar, and Ain Guezzam.
