The Soufrière community is getting ready for another weekend of fun in and around the water as the Soufrière Dive Fest 2026 returns on August 29 and 30.
Parliamentary Representative for Soufrière and Minister of Tourism, International Transport and Maritime Initiatives, Denise Charles-Pemberton, announced the two-day event, which is aimed at showcasing the constituency’s natural beauty and underwater attractions.
The festival is being organised by Charles-Pemberton and the Soufrière Organising Committee, in collaboration with the Soufriere–Scotts Head–Gallion Village Council and the Ministry of Tourism.
Saturday’s activities begin at 6:00 AM with a Hike & Soak before shifting to the coast for Discover Scuba, Discover Freediving, Discover Kayaking and Coral Presentations from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM.
From 2:00 PM, the Soufrière Bayfront will host a Family Fun and Fish Lyme, featuring boat rides, kayaking, family games, arts and crafts, seafood and live entertainment.
Sunday’s programme continues with Coral Presentations, Discover Swimming and Discover Snorkelling from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM. A Corporate Kayak Race, offering a $2,500 grand prize, will follow from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM.
The festival will wrap up with a MainStage Event from 5:00 PM, featuring boat rides, kayaking, tubes, family games, and live entertainment, along with opportunities to enjoy local and traditional food.
