SAN MARINO – Titan Games, healthcare and secrecy on the financial sector. These are the themes at the center of the Assembly Future Republicmeeting on Thursday 8 October under the chairmanship of Mara Valentini. The movement has expressed strong criticism of the government, calling for greater transparency and more incisive opposition on dossiers deemed priorities.
On the issue of the Giochi del Titano, the Assembly denounced “very worrying hypotheses of crime” and what it defines as an “absolute inaction of the State Congress”, with particular reference to the Secretary of State for Finance Marco Gatti. The council group was asked to intensify political action to clarify an issue which, according to Future Republiccould have serious repercussions on the image of the Republic.
Harsh criticism also on healthcare. The movement considers the reports of possible personnel leaving the ISS to be alarming and the problems which, it claims, remain unresolved despite the reassurances of the government and the institute’s leaders. Also under scrutiny is the health management’s position on mammography tests, defined as “disconcerting from a scientific and medical point of view”. Future Republic it also contests the alleged bureaucratic difficulties that could hinder the return to hospital of an important doctor after a period of leave.
Finally, the Assembly condemned the decision of the State Congress to impose, through a decree, restrictions on the communication of the members of the Great and General Council on the state of the financial sector, with the reference to the possible recourse to article 377 of the Criminal Code.
During the meeting it was also decided to organize, in 2027, a conference dedicated to the main themes of the country’s agenda, the Association Agreement with the European Union, the international economic situation and political scenarios, in light of the difficulties of the majority.
