SAN MARINO – The Great and General Council approved at second reading, Thursday 22 October, a law that introduces tax incentives to support sporting events, facilities and interventions to enhance public real estate assets. The provision aims to encourage the involvement of private resources in projects of collective interest.
Alleanza Riformista expressed satisfaction with the approval of the law, attributing the initiative to the Secretary of State Rossano Fabbri. According to the movement, the new measures can contribute to the development of San Marino sport and expand the opportunities for collaboration between institutions, citizens and businesses.
The incentives concern support for sports facilities and events, as well as interventions on the state’s real estate assets. The extension to all public real estate, underlines Alleanza Riformista, expands the possibilities for recovering and enhancing the community’s heritage through forms of collaboration between public and private.
In the statement, the movement also highlights the economic and social impacts that the development of sport can generate. In addition to the competitive dimension, sporting activities are indicated as tools for promoting health, education and inclusion, with possible benefits for tourism, commerce, hospitality and services.
Finally, Alleanza Riformista recalls the importance of transparency and protection of the general interest in the implementation of interventions, supporting a development model that combines public initiative with private participation to enhance the resources of the Republic.
