Ramesh Rangarajan appointed Chairman of Kasturi and Sons Ltd.

Ramesh Rangarajan has been elected Chairman of Kasturi and Sons Ltd., the holding company of The Hindu Group Publishing Private Ltd. (THGPPL), the publishers of The Hindu, Businessline, Frontline, and Sportstar, and other subsidiaries. He is the son of the late Mr. S. Rangarajan, former Chairman of Kasturi & Sons Limited. Soon after graduation from Loyola College, Chennai, Mr. Ramesh Rangarajan joined The Hindu Group, where he served as Deputy General Manager before being appointed to the Board of Directors of Kasturi & Sons Limited. He has extensive experience in the advertising and circulation side of the news media business. He also serves on the Boards of Sporting Pastime India Limited, Hindcorp Resorts Private Limited, and Kasturi Estates Private Limited. Mr. Ramesh Rangarajan serves as an Independent Director on the Board of MRF Limited.
