Prime Minister Edi Rama has continued today with the attacks on Dritan Goxhaj, calling him a deserter of the Kosovo Liberation Army.
In a post on social networks, he shared a letter from the KLA, where it is said that Goxhaj refused to take part in the war like his father.
While attacking Goxhajn, Rama has been accused by thousands of citizens in the square for treason against the country for 23 days, and his departure from politics is demanded more persistently.
Yesterday, the 23rd mass protest was held demanding the change of the political establishment and the removal of the government.
“Don’t do it, don’t blame your mother at all, what a cowardly commander you are”… These were the words of a man with several killed in his family, who, revolted by the hosannas of this type of defenders, brought me the attached document this morning. While these are my words: Hey, brave, not for a manipulator who is half Taliban and half mythomaniac, but for the whole world, if they forgive me, I will not throw a drop of mud on the flag of KLA. And whoever jokes about Iran’s aggressive intervention in this protest, will feel very ashamed when the truth comes out, after all this fog of digital hysteria dissipates”, writes Rama.

On April 14, 1999, at the U.Ç.K.’s training center in Helshan, four officers of the Albanian Army volunteered to fight for the liberation of Kosovo, specifically, Arqile Mandro, Ermir Begaj, Driton Dyrmishaj and Agim Sallaku. Dritan Goxhaj brought them with a bundle.
He is the son of Dylaver Goxhaj, currently a volunteer in the Kosovo war, in the General Staff of the U.Ç.K., as a member of this staff. The officers who came from the Albanian army work with special dedication for the preparation of the KLA forces.
When Dritan Goxhaj left for Tirana, his friends who volunteered, said to him: “But you won’t stay with us, in the war for the liberation of Kosovo?” Dylaver’s son answered with excessive pride: “I have no idea, like my father, to come to the war in Kosovo.”
The volunteers who came from the west were outraged by the answer he gave, but they had no chance to react, because Dritan Goxhaj turned on the horse and left immediately, from the training center in the direction of Tirana.
