In 7 days of student and high school students protest, what has caught the eye is the absence on the boulevard or streets of Tirana, of those girls with pink polystyrene flamingos playing drums.
For more than 100 days, those girls beat the drums and waved polystyrene flamingos in the square, becoming a symbol of the protests or even the civic revolution, “Flamingo”, which was actually born from those muscular guys that Kastrati contracted in Zvrnec.
Ever since the tykes showed their muscles and dragged the residents away, the country has not found peace until now. But if you are on the ground, you see that the protest has overlapped the protest, where the square is occupied and controlled by students and young high school students.
The “Flamingos” have been dispersed and it is no longer known where they entered. A new force has taken over the territory.
No more girls with flamingos or meatballs and those other people who controlled the sound.
These are no longer and scan nothing in this protest, neither the stones, nor the fireworks, nor the background music, the generators, the steps of the podium, nor the masks.
These have been displaced and replaced by students and young people, who no longer want speeches and walks in Tirana.
Then, the misfortune of this 7-day protest is the fact that within the students and high school students, there are well-organized gangs of 4-5 people who only want to steal, grab some “loot” and not protest to overthrow Edi Rama and his system.
Thieves, who attacked banks and telephone shops with iron bars, signs and whatever they had in their hands.
This is a crime, not a protest. Bank robbery carries a sentence of 10 to 20 years in prison.
Therefore, whoever comes to power, no one will amnesty and protect you tomorrow.
Only one person, A. Thaçi from Mamurasi, arrested by the police for the case of the break-in and theft of the “Raiffaizen” bank on Kavaja street, they found 46 ATM cards in his body along with their codes, which were prepared to tell the customers.
I have seen young people, who have broken into phone and jewelry stores, coming out of there with 4-5 phone cases or gold pendants in their hands.
This did not happen even in the most serious event that I have followed, such as the case of January 21, 2011.
I thought that going out into the street in the middle of the day in the masks of thieves, was a time that had ended.
Rama put his muscles aside, but gave the country a political solution by leaving.
A lot of us walked with the idea that: “… Rama is gone, who will come… we have no one to govern us…”.
That if the political problem is posed like this, then it falls to you to ask “…or is Rama dying tomorrow…?”.
What are we going to do, we are going to kill ourselves because the prime minister died and we have no one to lead us or we are going to sit down and choose another one.
