Prime Minister Edi Rama, during his appearance today for a statement to the media, attacked the leader of Lévizje Bashke, Arlind Qorin, referring to him without mentioning him by name as “professor” and “preacher of violence”.
He claimed that a group he described as ANTIFA exerts psychological pressure on protesters and prevents them from accepting dialogue.
Rama said that he had also communicated on the phone with protesters and had invited them to talk, but, according to him, they were afraid that they would be labeled as traitors or that they would face the violence of others.
He also claimed that people with criminal activities were involved in the protests.
“I also communicated by phone, I invited them and they were characterized by fear of each other, the desire to speak, but fear of each other, fear that they would be labeled as traitors, fear that they would then suffer the consequences of the violence of others, who are an ANTIFA group there, ideologized by the well-known ‘professor’, the well-known ‘preacher’ of violence, whom everyone knows and I don’t even want to mention him name and who have a really outstanding ability and capacity to put others in psychological terror and to force others to follow them. Then there was another component, a component of criminals, who were present, people of fury and rope who did their part in that protest. I am convinced that the days and months will bring to light the evidence of those protesters themselves, when they are freed from this whole circle of a revolution. imaginary, behind which are also the forces that do not want the progress of Albania. This is a little, but it is very certain.” said Rama.
