A worker was killed in an accident at a poultry farm in Säkylä, a municipality under Satakunta region on Monday, police said in a press release.
The accident took place at about 11:00 am when the person was working at the production facility of the farm.
At certain stage the worker was trapped in the machine.
Responding to an alarm, rescue service people including a medical helicopter rushed to the spot and found the worker dead.
Police, however, did not divulge the details about the incident and the identity of the deceased.
The reason behind the accident could not be known immediately.
The Police are investigating into the incident to find out more information about the death.
