The 13th graduation ceremony of PIU College was held at the Novotel Hotel in Yangon yesterday, with degrees conferred on students in their respective fields of study.
At the ceremony, the Dean of the Academic Department of PIU College delivered the opening remarks, followed by the presentation of awards by professors and teachers to 409 outstanding students.
Degrees were then conferred on 1,098 students from 11 programmes: DHRM, DFA, DSM, ICPHR, DBA, DBMA, DFM, DLSCM, DPE, ICBE and DICT.
Located on Parami Road in Mayangon Township, Yangon, PIU College was established in 2016 and has provided training in various fields each year, producing knowledgeable and skilled professionals. The graduates receiving degrees this year are university graduates who completed three-, six- or nine-month vocational courses in their chosen fields to enhance their employment prospects.
The 1,098 graduates, including those who excelled in their courses, have opportunities to pursue further studies abroad and seek employment. PIU College also facilitates connections with employment opportunities in Myanmar, according to the college. — Oktha/KZL
