A person in Ilulissat is charged with having violated the police on the night of Monday. The police were in the process of arresting a driver under the influence of alcohol when the incident happened.

– If we have to talk about the cases from the beginning, we received a report that a person in Ilulissat was driving a car under the influence of alcohol at 00.58 on the night of Sunday. We sent a patrol, after which the driver was located after some time, says Aputsiaq Hansen and continues:
– During this arrest, another person who has nothing to do with this case came and began to utter violent abuse against the police. The insults were deemed too violent, so the person was also arrested and charged, says Aputsiaq Hansen.
Two cases created
Aputsiaq Hansen states that the driver was also arrested, where blood samples were taken to confirm the high blood alcohol level. The motorist can expect a legal aftermath based on the case.
