The parliamentary group meeting conflict between Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu, who was appointed by court decision, and CHP leader Özgür Özel, brought the two sides face to face. This week, both sides made preparations but then backed down. His special team gave up holding meetings, saying, “There is no softening, but Group meetings should not be areas of internal conflict.”
Kılıçdaroğlu team announced that “it was decided not to hold a group meeting” in order to prevent the formation of tensions.

The Headquarters plans to hold a group meeting after the appointment of two group deputy chairmen, whose seats became vacant because they were disciplined, and the appointment of the group chairperson, as Kılıçdaroğlu is not a member of parliament.

CHP Group Deputy Chairman Murat Emir emphasized that group deputy chairmen cannot be determined by ‘appointment’, they can be elected. Our group meetings should not be an area of internal conflict, they should be an area of struggle between the nation and the palace, there is no softening. “The CHP will not be allowed to conduct operations in the palace,” he said.
