Myanmar virtually attends 24th SCO Prosecutors-General Meeting

The 24th Meeting of Prosecutors-General of the member states of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) was held in Kazan, the Russian Federation, on 1 October, with a Myanmar delegation led by Union Minister for Legal Affairs and Union Attorney-General Dr Thida Oo attending virtually.
Prosecutors-General from SCO member states, observer states and dialogue partner countries also attended the meeting.
The meeting discussed promoting legal cooperation to protect the rights and legitimate interests of minors, exchanging experiences on preventive measures and enhancing international cooperation among SCO member states.
The participants exchanged views on measures to prevent children from becoming involved in destructive activities and discussed relevant cooperation.
The meeting was held under the chairmanship of the Russian Federation, and the participants adopted a protocol containing decisions on cooperation. — MNA/KZL
