On Thursday, October 22, the Minister of State, Minister of the Interior and Local Communities, Ibrahim Murad, supervised the inauguration ceremony of Abdel Wahab Zeni, governor of the state of El Tarf.
In his speech during the ceremony, the minister called on citizens to “raise the level of vigilance and caution and surround each other, to form an impenetrable bulwark against the enemies of the homeland, who do not want the dynamic that Algeria is witnessing now to materialize, but rather do not want the Algerian to have any consideration,” according to what the ministry reported in a statement.
Murad also stressed that “the recent achievements are considered a point of no return to sustainable economic development. What was previously a dream has now become projects embodied on the ground, and there are many examples.”
He added that President Abdelmadjid Tebboune “continuously emphasizes placing the citizen at the center and core of all strategies and projects, and that the success of any project is linked to its positive impact on the citizen.”
The Minister also stated at the conclusion of his speech that the appointment of Abdel Wahab Zaini as head of the state of El Tarf “represents a new station in the path of local development, and a shared responsibility that calls for continuing to build on the gains achieved and enhancing the developmental dynamism, with a clear vision and effective management.”
