Mr. Mujahid also wrote on his X-page: “We are saddened to learn that the floods have caused personal and financial losses to people in Nuristan province this afternoon.”
He also requested Jannat al-Firdous for the martyrs of the incident and speedy recovery for the injured.
Mr. Mujahid expressed confidence: “All the related bodies of the emirate have worked hard to save the lives and property of the rest of the people, God willing, they will be dealt with well.”
It is worth noting that the initial number of casualties due to heavy floods in Parun city and some other areas of Nuristan province, the emergency preparedness agency showed 200 people, out of which 20 people were martyred, 80 people were injured and 100 others were missing.
