Monika Lubonja has reacted for the first time, after the publication of intimate videos with Adi Hila.
“I address you today with the pain of a woman whose trust and privacy have been violated, but also with the determination to protect her dignity and rights.
I ask and hope that my mudslinging in the name of a ‘collective morality’ will stop. A person’s dignity is built throughout life and cannot be undone by the betrayal of someone to whom I forgave a few years of my life.
I had no knowledge, I did not give consent to be filmed, recorded or for intimate materials to be distributed, sold or published. I loved someone and I believed.
I am not ashamed of the love I have given. It hurts me that my faith has turned into a weapon against me.
I ask the media to respect my privacy and not to publish or speculate by publishing intimate material.
I ask public opinion not to turn my pain into entertainment and not to judge me for the trust I gave to an unfaithful man.
I have turned to justice and will follow this path to the end.
I do not forgive my dignity and infidelity to anyone who used my life!
I will pursue it legally and I am sure that the truth will speak.
I ask God for strength so that this wound does not fill my heart with hatred. I believe that he knows my truth and I expect justice to do its job”, she says.
